No more politics! Ok, one more then I'm done.

Yippee!! The election is over. Before you get your panties in a wad, I'm not upset at the outcome of the election. I think that the US spoke and we are going to see some radical changes as the Democrats have a the majority in the House and Senate and with a Democrat in the White House. Talk about being able to pass everything you could ever want. My big concern - Russia is already putting up short range missiles near Poland. I hope that come January, our new administration will not let other countries walk on us, pull one over on us and think we are wimps. We still need to be strong and not go all Greenpeace on the world.

That said, I'm going to be working on some poetry. A girl in my office has introduced me to poems that are questions. MMMM, I'm going to work on this and maybe, catch up on everything I missed over the last few weeks now that The Husband is on the mend.

I am glad the election is over, too. The outcome is somewhat scarey because of the lack of diversity in control of our country, lets hope for the best! I have been posting like crazy, Nanny Vopal needed some new reading material. Good luck with the poems, post a few for our reading pleasure.

"not go all Greenpeace" - Amen! I hear ya.

I actually went and bought a book called 'Obamanomics' yesterday cuz I need to be way more informed on how much I should really freak out. :) Seriously though, I feel I should be more informed about his stance on more stuff so I am gonna read it and then determine if I need to stock up on guns or not LOL I am kidding...about the gun part anyway. I fear that people havent really understood fully just how close to socialism some of his "change package" is...but maybe I am the one who doesnt understand so... that is why I'm doing more homework. I try to not flap my yap about stuff I dont feel I'm truly informed on...not that I dont EVER do it, cuz I do...a lot probably..but I *try* not to hahhaa That is what counts, right? : )

Unstable, I love that you are educating yourself on this. I can't afford any $ for the book, so I'll just read the crap in the media.

LOL @ Dijea's follow-up to Unstable. I freaking blog-love you guys. And for the record, what "extra" (hahahahahahahahahahaha OMFG... breath... wait, bwahahahahhahahahaha) money we have will be put towards a handgun because the stuff we DID read was not favorable for the average 2nd Amendment supporting citizen. :-)

I'm glad your husband is on the mend... About that other stuff, you might know WE have our New Zealand national elections today. So, like you, that will be the end of all OUR electioneering after tonight I hope!
