I'm tired. Seriously, tired. As I wrote yesterday, I am not a morning person. When I left work yesterday, I fell asleep at a stoplight and if Mr. Impatient hadn't honked, we might have stayed there all day. I got home from work ate a little something and proceeded to take an hour and a half nap on the trampoline. Way to watch the kids! I didn't have enough energy to make dinner so we went out. I was even in bed before 11. I usually don't feel awake until about 9pm anyway so boy was I tired yesterday.
Its not allergies, its not the change in season or the change in schedule. I'm tired ALL THE TIME. ALL. For a couple of years I've been tired. I don't sleep well at night, I know that's part of the problem, but why am I so stinking tired? I give up! Is my life doomed to be in need of a nap?
FYI, I didn't have any energy yesterday, so that left leg is still hairy. But at least I'm wearing pants today.

Insomnia
Its 11:30 and I can't sleep. I know this is going to sound ridiculous, but I don't sleep well until my husband is in the bed with me. Oh, I go to bed before him - he has to play video games doesn't he? But I never really get good and asleep until he comes to bed. I've been without him in the bed for two nights, tonight is night three and I'm totally ready to pack up and go home for a little sleep. I'm having fun with my parents and grandparents, so are the kids, I just miss my strange, smelly, snoring husband - now you really know I'm nuts.

Is sleep really too much to ask?
I have trouble sleeping. It takes me forever to get to sleep at night, and then the slightest noise will wake me up (usually Mason's snoring). Even though I know I should get up and do something productive, I am so tired and lay in bed trying ever so unsuccessfully to get back to dreamland.
That being said, it is even worse these days. With the whole sick Hunter problem, now Ethan is a coughing machine, although he is much easier to take care of than Hunter. He got up at 11:15 last night and got in bed with me. Snuggled up all tight against me. This was fine until I had a hot flash (I'm not even 40!). Mason went to sleep in Ethan's room and I made them change beds - probably somewhere around the 1AM to 2AM hours. Then Hunter wet the bed at 5:30 so I'm totally running on empty.
Although my husband is very helpful around the house and will do anything I ask him most occasions, if he is already in bed asleep, forget asking him to get up. So I guess I am destined to be up at night with children, cats & whatever else there is to take care of for the rest of eternity. For the record, we are never getting a dog, I am not getting up to let that creature outside to pee at 3 am. I'm just not.
