I stole the Kindness Plug idea from CDAN, but for those of you who helped Kritta on her marathon for Lukemia & Lymphoma Society, or for anyone else who wishes to help, please get on board. Tonya is mom, who has requested a little help.
Tonya's husband is training with a group of people training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. On December 14, 2008 he will run 26.2 miles in hopes of raising money for this wonderful society! He just started his training this week, and will continue to do so every week until the day of the marathon!
Tonya has actually lossed someone to Lymphoma. He was a talented and brilliant mind! His name was Dr. Lu. He had the biggest and most generous heart! It's absolutely horrific what this cancer does. The worst part was watching him deteriorate right in front of her eyes. He was a doctor and he couldn't even beat this cancer! We need to help in raising money for more research. Please help.
All of the Team In Training raises funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. He is completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
