National Blog Posting Month.

Hello peeps! Have you missed me? I've missed you. Guess what? I'm going to be here everyday - yes, I said it EVERYDAY! Why you asked. Everyone always asked I'm going to join in and participate in NaBloPoMo. National Blog Posting Month.

Woo Hoo! I have absolutely nothing in my head about what is going to be posted. Suggestions would be appreciated. Also I foresee at least one nospacebar post and probably a few cooking posts as I will probably have to take over the cooking duties in the house. UGH! I'm so uninspired in the kitchen these days. But my husband likes to cook full fat, I've got to get out of the full fat dinners.

Don't forget to give me a little comment love. I am always more fun with comments. I challenge you all to do the same and join me in National Blog Posting Month.

Weekend Update

Well, its been an interesting week. My blood pressure was through the roof last week. WAY TOO HIGH. I do have an appointment with the doctor this week to address that and my stress levels. I'm not sure where its all coming from, but in my case, probably all sides. Hehe! Hey, I'm laughing.

I had a nice bike ride today that has reduced my outgoing stress a little bit. I feel a little more relaxed, but my jaw and shoulders are still tight, so its really just hidden. I wanted to keep going, but the kids and The Husband, were like "my legs hurt". Whimps!

Someone told me I looked like I lost weight. HAPPINESS, True Happiness. (and I will probably ride my bike everyday for like a week.)

Took a bunch of random tractor pictures. I think I need to do a series of Tractors. What do yo think? Here is my first one.

HELP!

I cannot get the theme song to The Jeffersons out of my head. I can't! Its driving me crazy. Over and Over and Over all I hear is..."Well, we're movin' on up...." The only thing I can think of to get it out is to sing Barry Manilow - but I'm not sure if that's not worse.

Dear Blogger:

Blogger, bless me for I have sinned, its been 9 days since my last post and all hell has broken loose. My youngest has had a fever for 6 days. We are scheduled for the doctor (again) tomorrow because this is just too long. I have gone insane being home this many days with a sick kid and chosen to clean their room and re-arrange furniture.

Only you mothers would understand the total disgust I discovered when I moved the beds. I will save you the horror, because let me tell you - IT WAS BAD!

I was actually contemplating multi-dosing of tylenol and motrin Friday morning so that he could go to school and I could go to work, but at 4:30 when his fever shot up over 101 - well, that flew out of the window. I will now have to go talk with the principal because of his absences this semester. Oh, lovely day.

On a lighter note, I get to take Cagey - the baby kitty - back to the vet for another antibiotic shot as some stupid cat in the neighborhood beat the you-know-what out of him last night. I found him on the porch and he came in right away, which should have sent lightbulbs flashing in my brain but I was in a I've had a sick kid all week fog and it didn't register. I would have taken him last night, but I had a few glasses of wine and decided it would be best not to drive. 7 pm was the earliest I could get in today.

Well, thanks for visiting with my blogger. I'll look forward to next time.

Random thoughts from an insomniac...

Why is it when you are awake and want to love the cats they won't get anywhere near you, but when you want to sleep they decide they need attention or worse lay on top of you?

I watched The Princess Bride & Legal Eagles tonight.  The latter out of complete boredom.

I hid my husbands Christmas Present and told him he could have it as soon as he found it.  He can't find it.  HEHEHE!!

Its freezing outside - literally.

I wonder if Dirty Jobs is on.....

I'm not bored, I'm just boring....

I have nothing interesting to say.  NOTHING.  So lets just make a list of stuff that's going on or I don't know questions that should be answered.  Chime in whenever something catches your fancy...
  • My hair needs WAY more than just a deep condition.  Its so dry I need to soak it overnight in oil.
  • Its cold here - it didn't get above freezing until mid-afternoon.  This is Texas.  I've sunbathed on Christmas.  Is not suppose to get this cold this early.
  • My cats have worse sibling rivalry than my kids after being stuck inside due to the weather.
  • My husband is still strange - this may never change, but I hope every day.  His latest "song"  is My Afro is so Large.  See, I told you he was strange
  • I really could use some chocolate right now.
  • Laundry seems to multiply when I'm not looking and I spent way too much at Sam's Club today.  Why?  I'm really really mad at Target.  So they can't have any of my money right now.
  • Drama - its everywhere.
Well, its time to deal with the next load of clothes and I don't know if I could come up with another bullet point if I tried.
