Another New Place To Go.
I'm working on a new blog - The Kitchen Remodel. I have several entries so far, but I will have a bunch more over the next couple of days. This way you can check it out. Feel my pain, get excited or be "Sofa King Jealous". Check it out.

The room is spinning.
I'm sitting in the house after a good workout this morning and the plumber is working on the utility closet. Whatever glue the plumber is using is making me high. Whoo Hoo! At least the kids aren't around to see me, or experience it for themselves.
I go outside when it gets too bad. I'm afraid to leave because 1) I have no water and I can't take a shower which means I still smell from the workout. 2) I might spend money I don't have. & 3) Its 105 outside. Why would I want to go out there? I have a good book, I'm enjoying it. I may not remember what I read, but eh, I can start over.

I feel dirty.
Ok, the kids have been dropped off at Grandma's and Paw Paw's for a week. I really needed to get them out of the mess that is the remodel. Unfortunately, Hunter has developed something with his ear and well, its awful quiet around here, despite the ungodly hammering.
All this said, OMG! The bathroom in the hall - the one the guys have been using - Toxic waste dump. UGH! I feel dirty just walking in there, having to clean it is well, outside of my job description. This is why boys (including my children & sometimes my husband) are not allowed to use the master bathroom. 1) its small & 2) its the only place this girl can go and be left alone.
I have somehow spent the morning trying to make it habitable, but I'm not sure I can do that without a has-mat suit. I hope none of the germs flew out and got into the rest of my house.

Listen Up People, This is Important
You are not going to believe this. My DAD has a blog. Seriously, my dad. The old guy my kids call Paw-Paw has a blog. He has always been a talented guy, but since he retired he has taken up painting and is pretty ding-dang good.
Check out Dad's Blog! You can also find it on my Blog Roll, Walt's Art Space. Go on, you know you want to look.

I've spent a Bazillion dollars today.
Yes, a Bazillion. I was going to say a gazillion, but it was truly only a bazillion.
How can one little bitty person spend a bazillion dollars in a day? Purchase new, yes NEW, Stainless Steel Appliances that's how. OMG! OMG! OMG! I also had to write a check for materials for the cabinet guy. That's two checks in one day. I get a stomach ache every time I write a check.
Hold on a sec, let me check something....Nope still no weight lost. You would think that as many stomach aches as I have had over the past week and as many times as I've gone to the "little girls room" I would have at least lost a pound. Guess I'm not that lucky.
Not only did the amazing floor guys get my old floor removed and new floor lain in 48 hours. I am almost completely sheetrocked. Whoo Hoo! This is sooooo exciting (and sickening).

Kindness Plug
I stole the Kindness Plug idea from CDAN, but for those of you who helped Kritta on her marathon for Lukemia & Lymphoma Society, or for anyone else who wishes to help, please get on board. Tonya is mom, who has requested a little help.
Tonya's husband is training with a group of people training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. On December 14, 2008 he will run 26.2 miles in hopes of raising money for this wonderful society! He just started his training this week, and will continue to do so every week until the day of the marathon!
Tonya has actually lossed someone to Lymphoma. He was a talented and brilliant mind! His name was Dr. Lu. He had the biggest and most generous heart! It's absolutely horrific what this cancer does. The worst part was watching him deteriorate right in front of her eyes. He was a doctor and he couldn't even beat this cancer! We need to help in raising money for more research. Please help.
All of the Team In Training raises funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. He is completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please visit Tonya's husband's web site often and send some motivational support and DONATE. Be sure to check back frequently to see his progress.

Pray for my sanity. Please.
Yes, we are FINALLY getting the updated kitchen I've always dreamed about. OK, maybe not the one I've always dreamed about, but the one we can afford. I ran out of places to go, so we are locked in the back room. Whoo Hoo! Listening to pounding, hammering and some other noise that just plain makes me cringe. I'm about to go and drop off one of the children to play with a friend and I guess the other one and I will find something nice to do together.
I'm deep breathing, for serenity.

Too Much Information
Last night, I woke up in excruciating pain. No, seriously it was bad. I burst a cyst on my ovary. YUCK! I thought I might die, I whimpered and moaned and cried and not once did the hubby wake up. I almost woke him up to take me to the hospital because I thought I was dying. But no, just little explosion going on inside my body. Although for the pain level I experienced (on a scale of 1-10 it was a 46) that sucker had to have been the size of a basketball.
UGH! I would be perfectly happy to not have one of those again.

The Husband
If you guys who read my blog still don't have a complete understanding of how completely nuts my husband is - read the comment he left me on the entry below. Then understand and feel my pain and frustrations.
I love him, but he really is a horse of a different color. Mac Daddy - you are my soul mate, but even you must know you are a sandwich short of a picnic.

Besides all this, I painted my toenails.
Last week we rearranged the kids room so I could make "play" space. Surprisingly enough I actually accomplished this and today after buying a rug for their room - we organized, boxed up or moved their toys. I moved about 10 boxes of gunk to the attic and am feeling like I got something done.
For fun, I moved the kitchen table into the dining room and we actually ate in the dining room. We haven't done that since before the children were born. Is that sad or what?

CSI: Rodent Edition
DEAD????!!?? UGH, I really didn't want to hear this come out of my kids mouth - especially when Daddy is not home.
So I cautiously walked outside to where the child was pointing, and there less than a foot a way from the play set was I'm sure was the biggest rat in the universe dead in the grass. EEEWWWW!!! After doing some deep breathing exercises I mobilized the troops (that would be the two children) and went to work. I walked into the garage and grabbed the shovel. E went and got the bag of corn shucks from the back porch and H well, he informed me the rats head was cracked open. ***Little vomit in the back of my throat to enjoy*** I picked up the rat with the shovel, dumped him in the bag and off we went to the trash can. E carried the bag as far at the back gate - WAY TO GO E!!!!- and then I went in for the kill and dumped it in the trash can.
SCORE!
I feeling the need for an emergency session with my therapist, but decided to save the money and blog about it instead. I am still a little shaky, but I think I might survive. My three cats may never be allowed inside again as I'm not sure who to blame for this and I don't want dead rat germs to come near my body in the form of a cat kiss. YUCK!

Dear Stupid Driver:
Thank you stupid ass mother f*cker who hit my car and drove off. I really appreciate that I now have to repair a car that you hit with money I don't have. Thank you and kindly wait for the karmic retribution that will surely come your way. One that I will be praying that you see soon and is extremely harsh.
