Coach Barnes!

I am officially more in the know that Unstable.  She has not yet posted about Stu Barnes retirement and new job as an assistant coach with the Dallas Stars.

AWESOME!  Nice to know we still have him on our side.

Welcome, Coach Barnes!!

Random, Random, Random

OK, thank goodness for the invention of Tivo or the DVR or whatever it is we use.  I could not keep up with either Grey's Anatomy or Lost tonight, because it is the first game of the Dallas Stars VS the Detroit Red Wings.  Important Stuff!!!!!  I could forgo any sport except Hockey.  I prefer Hockey to anything, yes, its a little harder to follow the puck than say a basketball, but 1)  Hockey guys have better bodies.  True Fact.  2)  There is a higher chance for blood than in almost any other sport - except boxing & cage fighting. and 3)  I get to listen to Razor.  His superlatives are unique & inventive and hockey is not the same without Razor as color analyst.

I will work out again today.  A little walking and upper body weights.  Ye Haw!!!  I know you can barely stand it.  I picked up the boys today.  I sweated entirely too much for it being still the first part of May.  I'm starting to think its body weight that is causing it and not temperature.  I seriously don't feel fat and unattractive, but I know that I need to lose weight so applaud my effort.

I also got all the random paperwork I've been piling up intending to file in the actual file cabinet.  And in hanging folders with labels.  I feel like I actually accomplished something.  Now if I can just quit drinking Dr. Peppers.  I made the stupid mistake of buying a case at Costco.  S-T-U-P-I-D.  I guess when they are gone they are gone and I'm not buying anymore.

MMMM Water.

I am completely nuts.

Most of you who have met me personally, already know this, but last night I stayed up and watched a full hockey game and 4 periods of OT.  YES 4.  There were guys - big hockey fans - who gave up long before I did.

TRUE STORY.

The game ended at 1:30 am thanks to an incredible job done by Marty Turco in goal and an awesome goal by the scrappy-cappy, Brenden Morrow. Unfortunately after the stress of about 130 minutes of hockey, I couldn't sleep.  So I dragging a little most of today.  In fact I am still so tight in my shoulders I had to schedule a massage.  I have a two hour deep tissue scheduled tomorrow evening.  I just HATE it when that happens.  Don't you?

Hey Red Wings.  We will kick your a**!  Well, at least my beloved Stars will.

OMG OMG OMG

I can't believe the first overtime of the Stars/Sharks game was never racking, unbelievable and extremely stressful.  GO STARS.  I haven't stayed up for nothing, and I'm willing to stay up all night if it means we face Detroit next.

Letter to Marty Turco

Marty - you ROCK!  R-O-C-K!!!

Do I really need to say anything else? No, because I've said it all.

3-0 Baby!

This is the first Stars goal - Zubov, nice job - notice the photography skills.  The puck is still in the air in the net.  I AM SO GOOD!  I also enjoyed some i-friend texting during the game with fellow STARS FAN, the Unstable Blogger.

I won't say it, but I might take a broom to the game tomorrow.  GO STARS!

SHUT OUT

"Perfection" that is what Razor said about your game.  After 4 goals by the Dallas Stars I turned to my husband:

Me:  I want Marty to get a ......

HIM:  No don't say it you'll jinx it.

So I didn't say it and I didn't jinx it and you got your shut out.  This is why I named my cat after you.  I'm sure you are thrilled to hear that - aren't you Marty?

You'll never read this blog and never know about my cat Turco, but I am devoted.  Really I am.  I am also a big giant nerd, but that is another story.

GO STARS!!
